The product is engineered around the structure of each standard rather than glued together as a generic checklist, and the same controls cross-map across every framework you run.
Why we built it
Most compliance products are sold to procurement and built for SaaS sales teams; they are good at producing a SOC 2 quickly and weaker on the standards that actually carry money risk, like PCI DSS. We started SentinelPanda because the small and mid-market merchants who could most benefit from continuous, low-touch self-assessment were spending weeks every year on spreadsheet workbooks that fell out of sync the day they were signed. The product turns those workbooks into an ordered workflow that survives between revalidations.
Who is behind it
SentinelPanda is built and run by its founder, Sam Rivera — a practitioner with a hands-on security, audit, and engineering background across financial services, fintech, and SaaS, who has worked through PCI DSS and SOC 2 directly. The site you are reading is written, designed, and shipped by the same person who builds the product, which is why the insights read like a practitioner wrote them.
